How Do I...
Obtain Telephone Advice?

If you need advice directly from the doctor or nurse practitioner, please telephone the receptionist and explain this to her. You may be asked to phone at a more convenient time as it is inappropriate to interrupt a doctor or nurse practitioner during consultations.

How Do I...
Make An Appointment?

Consultation Times (By Appointment)

Monday to Friday 8.00 - 11.00am
2.00 - 4.00pm
4.00 - 6.00pm

Surgery hours may vary slightly from those shown above.

We also have pre-bookable routine appointments with all doctors. Patients who wish to be seen on the day will be dealt with by our nurse practitioner.

Extended Hours
This is for patients who cannot access the service during normal practice hours. The service is on a Monday evening from 6.30 - 8.30pm and is by appointment only.

How Do I...
Obtain A Home Visit?

Home visits are reserved for patients who are housebound or are too ill or incapacitated that they cannot come, or be brought to the surgery. In almost all cases children can be brought to the surgery where we have the best conditions for examination. This is safer for your child, as urgent problems can be referred to hospital quickly. In most cases patients will be expected to come to the surgery.

If you do need a home visit please telephone the surgery before 10.00am if possible. This will help the doctors to plan their visits which will not normally be made until after morning surgery with some visits being made in the afternoon. If you think the visit will not wait, please advise the receptionist accordingly.

The lack of transport or cost of travel will not be a consideration in requests for home visits so please ensure that you have a system whereby you can access transport by family, friends or taxi.

How Do I...
Obtain Test Results?

Please telephone the surgery between 2.30-4.00pm for your test results. You may be asked to make an appointment with a doctor.
